How to Apply for Gas Connection in Bangalore

There are two ways of getting a Gas connection.

1> Apply for a New Gas Connection Online.
2> Approach the nearest Gas distributor in person & apply for a connection.

Please keep below documents ready before you start over this process.

Documents for Proof of Address (Any one of the below):

• Ration Card
• Electricity Bill (within Last Three Months)
• Land line Telephone Bill (Within Last Three Months)
• Passport
• Employer’s Certificate
• Flat allotment / possession letter from Builder
• House registration papers /Property Tax Document
• LIC policy
• Voter’s Identity Card
• Registered Leave and Licence Document
• Driving License
• Aadhaar Letter
• Bank Passbook

Documents for Proof of Identity (Any one of the below):

• PAN Card
• Passport
• Voter’s Identity Card
• Aadhaar Letter
• Driving License
• Central/State Government Issued ID cards
• Bank Passbook with Photograph

Eligibility:

– Residing in Bangalore
– No other govt LPG connection

Procedure:

1. Find out the area distributor for the Govt GAS company (Indane, Bharat gas, HP gas)
2. Call and check if new connection registration is open
3. Go to the dealer with above mentioned documents with 3 sets of Xerox.
4. Get the registration receipt and format for affidavit required to declare that you don’t have any other GAS connection.
5. Wait for a call from dealer saying that your connection is ready for pickup.
6. Get the receipts and equipment.
8. At the same time apply for the second cylinder also.

3. Search for Dealer

4. Fill Personal Information & Submit.
